Kyle Snyder Post No. 398
TO:  To whom.it may concern FROM: American Legion Post No. 39S- RE:  AL Business
DATE: 3/24/2023

Dear To whom it may concern:

Kyle Snyder American Legion Post# 398 turned in 53,000 poppies to Ms. Toomey-who accepted them
generously. Ms. Toomey then went to bless the post with a check to be added to our post coffers to
be meted out to local charities; she added that the post was in the running to be the number one
"poppy producing" post in the nation and only needed 35,000 more to reach 500,000. The assembled
Legionnaires applauded and set a goal of not only reaching 500,000 poppies by Veterans Day, but to
exceed it
Facility Warden Mr. Vanihel added_ words of encouragement saying that he was proud of the post and
its accomplishments.
As of Nov. 3, 2022 Kyle Snyder Post #398 has exceeded the goal of 500,000 and was awarded a Poppy
Challenge Coin by Ms. Anna Toomey. The Post was grateful and continues to meet weekly to produce
Poppies.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

For God and Country Post Adjutant
Jason W. Halcomb
