American Legion Auxiliary
American Legion Auxiliary members strive to make our communities and our country a better place to live. The ALA Community Service can consist of reaching out to help our homeless veterans with important support and health services, organizing events sending off or welcoming home deployed military unit. The Auxiliary will always have a need to help support their communities by showing compassion, love, and support for those who serve and sacrifice. Our Community Service projects focus on enhancing the quality of life for veterans, our military, and their families.
The Auxiliary have been implementing Community Service as a major outreach program since 1926. The Auxiliary is devoted to our commitment of aiding the American Legion with providing assistance with blood drives, first aid and CPR training, child safety programs, support for women in shelters, and disaster and emergency relief. With large numbers of homeless veterans, The Auxiliary recently has created Community Service projects provide donations to help and supporting shelters.
